Dawn Moses Memorial Innovations Grant

The Dawn Moses Memorial Innovation Grant pays tribute to the legacy of former AEF/AEEF Board Member Dawn Moses.  Dawn served on the board from 2005-2012 and passed away in 2012.

This grant acknowledgement is given annually to the Innovations in Education grant that most embodies Dawn’s spirit: creative, rigorous, and deeply attentive to the needs and interests of students and teachers.

Dawn’s dedication to AEF’s work was clear.   She especially advocated for sustainable, student-centered grants that encompassed alternative ways of learning.  Whether art grants or science grants, Dawn alwhttp://www.arlingtoneducationfoundationma.org/wp/aef-introduces-dawn-grantays looked for grants that would inspire students in the classroom, hallways or playground.

Dawn was not known for calling attention to herself, and AEF is pleased to recognize her commitment to the students of Arlington.
