Arlington High School science teacher Ms. Danielle Raad brought this innovative program to AHS. She documented her students’ experiences in an article that was published in the SAA Archaeological Record, May 2016. The note from the editor says “Raad demonstrates that archaeology can be effectively taught in a very hands-on way at the high school level. Indeed, she and her students illustrate that good research can be conducted on high school campuses.”
