Past grants from the ASF focused on grants that have the greatest potential to improve students' k-12 learning and which are currently beyond what the tax-funded school budget can support.

Enriching Elementary Education (2008-)

ASF's most recent initiative is designed to support elementary school teachers in integrating reading, math, social studies, science, art, and other subjects into challenging and engaging curricula and lessons that will enhance learning for all students.

High School Improvement Grant (2004-2008)

This four-year grant helped to improve teaching and learning, develop new courses and programs, and build community at Arlington High School.

Emergency Funding Grant (2004)
In response to dramatic budget cuts, ASF raised $274,000 to keep reading teachers in all seven elementary schools.
